Meeting Minutes

April 9th , 2003

The user' Group meeting was held at:

Old business:

Web Site: 

The web master did not update the web site for this meeting. The group decided that we should research our options for establishing another web site.

Financial Statement: 

The treasurer made a financial statement for this meeting. Looking Good!

Raffle Status:  

Tonight our raffles was for Inventor 6. Future raffles will be for Mechanical Desktop 6, AutoCAD 2004 and one or more to be determined. 

New business: 

Discussion about purchasing a laptop came up again. No decision was made.

The group had a discussion on what software we would like to request from AutoDesk (more on this later.)

General open discussion round table.

New Members:

One new member (and I missed his name.)

Demonstration:

Tim demonstrated the latest software from AutoDesk. AutoCAD 2004 new features include file compression and encryption and improvements to symbols, mtext, xref, pedit, and more. Our host again also supplied some refreshments! Yum!!

Plans for the next meetings were made and are as follows:

Raffle results:

George won the raffle for Inventor 6 software (how does he do that?)  (Were are still trying to think of some consolations prizes.)
