Meeting Minutes

August 8th , 2001

The user' Group meeting was held at:

Civic Center (Redding City Hall)

777 Cypress Avenue.

Twelve people were in attendance.

Old business was discussed:

Web Site: Webmaster Ron updated the web site, and now shows the new post office box listed on it. Ron prepared a few business cards for people to hand out to newcomers. The cards contain E-mail address, web site address, and post office box information, along with the current regular meeting schedule.

Financial Statement: Linda our treasurer gave our financial statement. (new equipment could be on the horizon)

Raffle Status: Greg was able to fill out the necessary paperwork for new software from Autodesk. We now have new software for our raffles. A vote was held on the maximum dollar amount per person that could be spent on Raffles. The maximum dollar amount for tickets per person is now $30 this is an increase of $10 (please note two tickets cost $5.)

New business was discussed:

NCAUG would like to welcome Carolyn to our group.

Demonstration:

Linda preformed a demonstration on the use of the attributes.
Greg performed demonstration on the use of x referencing.

Plans for the next meetings were made and are as follows:

Jonathan will demo grading and assembling Plans.
Ron will demo 3D solid modeling.

Raffle results:

George was very lucky tonight he won the raffle for AutoCAD 2002 software. Ron won the beloved hat.
